Pali beach - 220m.

The beach in the village where the Pali Nisyros Hotel is located is one of the most beautiful on Nisyros. It is divided into three different beaches: Katsouni, Pachia Ammo and Lies. It is ideal for families and groups as it is large and offers comfort and tranquility. There is fine sand on the beach and in the sea as well as tamarind trees that make the landscape even more beautiful. In recent years, more and more people have discovered it, making it very popular in the summer months. Nevertheless, it remains a beach where you can enjoy the summer without anything spoiling the moments.

Hochlakoi beach - 5.3 km

Chochlakoi beach is one of the most popular beaches in Mandraki. The caldera once again leaves its mark on the island, as the name "Hochlakoi" refers to the black, volcanic pebbles that cover the beach and the seabed. It is a place you will never forget, because it is unlike any other. It is a beautiful beach with a very special energy and water that shimmers in the sun thanks to its purity. To get to Hochlakoi beach, cross the entrance of the Panagia Spiliani monastery and continue along the path until you reach the coast.

Avlaki beach - 15.9 km

If you want to swim in the old harbour of Nikia, it's time to visit Avlaki. It is located on the south side of Nisyros and is a beach with hot springs due to the volcano. Avlaki is an impressive beach as its bottom is covered with black and red stones, which makes it a unique sight. It also offers a beautiful view. In addition to the magnificent water, your gaze will also fall on the monastery of Agios Panteleimon. It has pebbly and shallow water and can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes via a steep, paved path. You can also reach it by car via the dirt road that starts near the entrance to Nikia.

Gialiskari beach - 3 km.

Gialiskari beach is another popular beach on Nisyros, located on the north side of the island, between Mandraki and Pali. It is characterised by its dark, fine sand that runs through the entire area. But there are also pebbles and, of course, beautiful, clear water. The locals also call it "White Beach" because in the past, due to pumice mining, the color of the sand was white.

Pachia Ammos beach - 5.4 km

The inhabitants of Nisyros choose various beaches for swimming, but Pachia Ammos beach is considered the most beautiful of them all. Its long, wide beach combined with the dark sand and crystal-clear water impresses locals and visitors every year. It also owes its beauty to its special location, as it is isolated. However, access to Pachia Ammos is not easy. As there is no road, those who want to enjoy it have to walk an arduous path. However, the beauty of the landscape and the tranquillity it exudes make up for these minor inconveniences.
